Eben Advocates was founded with a vision to bridge local and international business through sound legal counsel. For more than 15 years, we have grown from a small practice into a trusted partner for businesses and organizations across the region.
Eben Advocates opened its doors in 2009 with a clear purpose: to give businesses sound, practical legal counsel that holds up both at home and across borders. At the time, many companies in the region were growing beyond their local markets. However, they often struggled to find advisers who understood local law as well as the expectations of international partners. We therefore set out to fill that gap.
For that reason, our early work centred on corporate law. As a result, we learned from the outset that good legal advice must be accurate and, equally importantly, easy for a client to act on.
As our clients' needs widened, our practice widened with them. A company that first needed help with its formation would later need its contracts reviewed, its property transactions completed, its brand protected and, at times, its interests defended in court. Rather than send clients elsewhere, we built the expertise to support them at each of these stages.
Consequently, we now advise across six core practice areas: Corporate Law, Contract Law, Intellectual Property, Real Estate Law, Litigation and International Trade. This breadth has, in turn, allowed us to serve more than 500 clients, from individuals and growing businesses to established organizations.

Although the firm has grown, the principles behind it have remained the same. We still begin by listening, we explain the law in plain language, and we give advice that clients can act on with confidence. Moreover, we hold ourselves to the standards set out in our core values, from integrity and excellence to a genuine focus on every client.
Ultimately, trust is something we must earn again with every matter we handle. That is why, more than 15 years on, building trust remains at the heart of our story.
